Niantic has announced that its real-world walking game, 'Pikmin Bloom,' will host a new regional event titled 'Anytime Walk: Pikmin Bloom Tour: Sapporo.'

The newly introduced 'Anytime Walk' is a feature designed to let players revisit walking routes from past live events, allowing participants to visit these locations on their own schedule and experience the events again.

The first event in this series, set in Sapporo, begins on the 27th and is based on the '2023 Pikmin Bloom Tour: Sapporo.' The route features 12 special spots; participants who complete the mission of swiping at 7 of these locations will receive a special postcard reward.

Event tickets can be exchanged for 700 coins via the in-game regional event portal. These tickets have no expiration date, allowing users to plan their trips flexibly according to their personal schedules.

The event is activated by arriving at the site and tapping the screen near the designated special spots. Once activated, the event remains available until the end of the year.

Participants in the 'Anytime Walk' course will also receive a special regional event patch as a reward to commemorate the area.

Meanwhile, a global walking party is underway until the 27th to celebrate Earth Day, where users around the world can plant flowers together. Depending on the cumulative number of flowers planted collectively, participants can earn large seedlings for 'Leaf Hat Decor Pikmin,' 'Snow Decor Pikmin,' and 'Gift Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin.'
