HAEGIN (CEO Lee Young-il) announced that its mobile idle baseball game, '2026 Professional Baseball GO!', will roll out a system overhaul and content update on the 22nd, incorporating feedback from its user base.
The most significant change is the revamp of the 'Batter Roster System,' which was a primary focus of user improvement requests. The update increases flexibility by allowing players to be placed in the Designated Hitter (DH) spot without position restrictions and introduces a new 'Bench Player System' that allows for a total of five registered batters. This enables users to build more strategic lineups and further deepens the experience for fans who enjoy the game as a "must-have companion while watching baseball."
The value of 'Monster Grade' cards, the highest tier of player cards, has also been enhanced in response to user feedback. The skill structure has been fundamentally improved so that stat reduction effects are applied regardless of the player's year, and 52 new Monster players spanning from 2005 to 2025 have been added to increase variety. In particular, the pick-up team recruitment system has been optimized based on group team decks to address concerns regarding the difficulty of recruiting from predecessor clubs like SSG-SK.
New content is also debuting, including 'Guild Breakthrough,' where guild members cooperate, and 'Spring Training,' which helps boost team power to the next level. Additionally, various quality-of-life improvements have been implemented, such as a player promotion probability adjustment system, inventory expansion (up to 800 slots), and more granular team analysis stats.
A HAEGIN representative stated, "This update is the result of our intense efforts to provide a more satisfying game by carefully reviewing every piece of valuable feedback sent by our fans," adding, "While we know there is still room for improvement, we will continue to listen to our fans and evolve constantly."
Meanwhile, '2026 Professional Baseball GO!' has prepared a variety of events to celebrate the upcoming Family Month and Children's Day in May. Starting May 1, the '14-Day Mission Event' and 'Special Attendance Event' will allow users to earn key rewards for team growth, such as Monster player re-recruitment tickets, Monster player packs, and large amounts of gems. Detailed information about this update can be found on the official Naver Game Lounge.
