Ubisoft has announced the global launch of 'Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence,' a free-to-play, third-person RPG shooter for mobile set in a massive urban open world.

The game takes place in the period between 'The Division' and 'The Division 2,' featuring an entirely new, standalone story and campaign within the Division universe.

Players step into the role of a Division agent during the 'Green Poison' crisis in New York, experiencing the chaos as institutions meant to maintain order collapse and opportunistic factions rise to power. Players can tackle the game solo or team up with up to three other agents to protect civilians, thwart hostile factions, and restore stability to the city.

'The Division Resurgence' offers an RPG progression system through various specializations, along with signature weapons, unique gear, and extensive customization options for equipment and weaponry. Players can switch roles at any time to suit their playstyle or team composition, and the game provides smooth, responsive gameplay across all modes thanks to a control system optimized for mobile devices. Notably, it also includes the 'Dark Zone,' the signature PvPvE experience of The Division series.

Creative Director Jonathan(​​Jonathan stated, "Developed with an all-new story and features optimized for mobile, 'The Division Resurgence' will offer a fresh experience for both long-time fans and new players," adding, "We look forward to seeing players explore this new chapter."

- Demolitionist, Bulwark (Defense Specialist), Field Medic, Tech Manager, and Vanguard (Weapon Specialist)
