The Apex Legends Global Series has revealed a broad lineup of sponsors and partners for its upcoming Year 5 Championship, set to take place Jan. 15–18, 2026, at the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME in Sapporo, Japan. Organizers said more than a dozen global and Japanese brands will support the event, providing competition hardware, fan experiences and locally inspired collaborations.
The ALGS Year 5 Championship marks a return to Japan for the franchise’s marquee tournament and is expected to draw top teams, international fans and regional businesses into a shared showcase. EA said the partnerships span competitive infrastructure, lifestyle branding and community engagement throughout the host city.
“The ALGS Year 5 Championship is a huge collaboration between our players, viewers, and of course our valued partners,” Monica Dinsmore, EA’s head of esports, said in a statement. She added that hosting the event in Sapporo creates opportunities for both global gaming brands and local businesses.
Beyond the main competition, the event will feature a new Hokkaido Pavilion, a designated fan area designed to highlight partner activations while also promoting Sapporo-based companies and regional culture.
Hardware, Energy Drinks and Fan Experiences Take Center Stage
Several familiar esports sponsors are returning, alongside new partners making their ALGS debut. Sony INZONE will once again serve as the official monitor partner, with its INZONE M10S displays used across competition areas and the FanZone. For the first time, Sony INZONE will also supply all official player audio, including a tournament-specific H9 II headset paired with E9 wired in-ear headphones.
Red Bull is returning as the official energy drink partner, offering on-site activations such as a photo booth, bar and interactive fan experiences. Google Play will debut as an ALGS partner, hosting a booth with exclusive rewards for Google Play Points VIP members and giveaways for attendees.
Razer has joined as the official chair partner, providing its Iskur V2 NewGen esports chairs for the main stage, free-play areas and FanZone. Japanese hardware brand AndGAMER, along with its controller subsidiary Void Gaming, will also showcase products and supply controllers for free-play stations. GALLERIA will serve as the official PC partner, equipping competitors and offering fans hands-on access to the same systems used by professionals.
The championship will also emphasize local involvement. The city of Sapporo, Hokkaido Electric Power Company, fashion brand BEAMS, production company RAGE, NTT East and confectioner Macaron et Chocolat are among the Japanese partners contributing infrastructure, merchandise and regional flair to the event.
