Riot Games Launches VALORANT V26 Season Start Popup in Seoul With Interactive Events and Creator Days

Players are getting a hands-on introduction to VALORANT’s 2026 season through a new offline event in Seoul, as Riot Games launches a limited-time popup experience tied to the start of V26.

Riot Games announced it is currently operating the “VALORANT V26 Season Start Offline Popup,” an in-person activation designed to celebrate the new competitive year for its 5v5 tactical shooter. The event opened Friday in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, and runs through Sunday the 18th, operating daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. over a 10-day period.

The popup is built around the theme “ALPHA VS OMEGA,” which also anchors the season’s first cinematic, Welcome To My World. According to Riot, the goal is to raise awareness of the 2026 season while encouraging deeper player engagement through interactive, gameplay-inspired activities.

Visitors can take part in a six-mission stamp rally that translates core VALORANT mechanics into real-world challenges. Activities include analyzing updates to the Breeze map, answering a season-themed quiz, completing a time-limited Spike defusal escape room, testing reaction speed, solving a puzzle involving a newly updated weapon, and supporting VCT Pacific teams through a themed mission. Participants who collect four or more stamps are eligible for rewards such as in-game player card coupons, Night Market access, capsule gacha entries, and chances to win gaming gear or official merchandise.

Experience the 2026 Season Changes Through Interactive Content

Beyond the stamp rally, the popup features multiple experience zones aimed at different segments of the player base. The “Random Gunfight Experience Zone” offers a fast-paced 5v5 arcade-style mode with fully randomized elements, while the “2026 Player’s Resolution” area lets attendees create personalized keyrings reflecting their goals for the new season.

Exhibition spaces include the “V26 VALORANT Zone,” highlighting upcoming season updates, and the “VCT Pacific Zone,” where fans can view team uniforms and VCT 2026 team capsules. A Riot Store is also available on-site, offering the latest VALORANT merchandise.

Riot has designated Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th as “Creator Day,” during which popular influencers will visit the venue. Attendees can participate in special activities or complete missions alongside creators, adding a community-focused layer to the season launch.

VALORANT remains one of Riot Games’ flagship titles, supported by a global esports ecosystem that includes international leagues and regional Challengers circuits feeding into major events such as Masters and Champions.
