Netmarble Inc., the South Korea–based game developer and publisher, will showcase its forthcoming multi-platform action role-playing game MONGIL: STAR DIVE at gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Germany. Attendees will be invited to experience hands-on demos powered by Samsung Electronics’ latest gaming innovations, including the Odyssey glasses-free 3D monitor and the Galaxy Z Fold7 smartphone. The convention runs Aug. 20–24 at Koelnmesse.
Samsung’s B2C booth on the show floor will be outfitted to highlight MONGIL: STAR DIVE’s immersive presentation. The Odyssey 3D monitor employs Eye Tracking and View Mapping technologies to deliver tailored stereoscopic visuals without the need for eyewear. Visitors can explore high-fidelity cinematic cutscenes and engage in dynamic combat sequences built on Unreal Engine 5.
NETMARBLE TO SHOWCASE MONGIL: STAR DIVE POWERED BY SAMSUNG AT GAMESCOM 2025
In addition to the main Samsung exhibit, MONGIL: STAR DIVE will feature at “The World of #PlayGalaxy,” Samsung’s exclusive user experience event held Aug. 22–23 at Dock2, a nearby cultural venue. Guests will play the demo on the recently unveiled Galaxy Z Fold7, which boasts an ultra-thin form factor, a wider external display, and optimized controls for uninterrupted gaming on the go. Netmarble has tailored the game’s interface and graphical settings to leverage the Fold7’s expanded cover screen and enhanced processing capabilities.

Attendees who participate in the playable demo are also able to collect limited-edition MONGIL: STAR DIVE merchandise, such as mascot “Nyanners” key chains and branded lanyards. To facilitate travel between Koelnmesse and Dock2, Samsung will operate a complimentary shuttle bus throughout the event.
Developed by Netmarble Monster, MONGIL: STAR DIVE serves as the sequel to the 2013 mobile RPG Monster Taming. The title is scheduled for release in the second half of 2025 across PC, consoles, and mobile platforms. For more details, visit the game’s official website.
