The League of Legends Champions Korea Summer Split is almost here, meaning teams are solidifying their rosters in order to become the most competitive. Just today, T1 announced the addition of Lee “Clozer” Ju Hyun in the Mid Lane, substitute position.
The South Korean rookie joined SK Telecom, now rebranded to T1, back in May of 2019. In the official announcement, the team states “Please look forward to another T1 Rookie heading for the World stage”, in a Twitter publication.
Joining the main roster as a substitute has not been the only change reported by the team. The player, formerly known as “Closer”, has updated his summoner name to “Clozer”, likely trying to avoid confusion with Can "Closer" Çelik, Golden Guardians’ Jungler in the League of Legends Championship Series.
The LCK returns on June 17, and T1 is scheduled to play against DragonX at 8pm KST on the first day. You can find the full schedule here.
