Playoffs for LEC are locked - here are your Spring 2020 Playoff teams

After Excel Esports' loss to G2 Esports, the LEC Playoff representatives were set. Now with 10 games left to go, all that's left up for "GrabbZ" is seeding. Currently, G2 leads the pack, at 13-3, with only Origen and Fnatic able to challenge them for 1st seed, each sitting at 12-4. Rogue and Misfits Gaming sit at 5th and 6th, but are within one game of MAD Lions at 4th. The bottom two seeds start in the losers' bracket, so they'll be fighting for wins in Week 9 to claim a spot among the "winners."

G2 started their season off strong, going 6-0 in dominating fashion, but then lost both of their Week 8 games against Misfits and Schalke (who was winless before). Since then, G2 has only lost one game, and has returned to more dominance and experimentation, pulling out a number of different champions in each role, making it even more difficult to draft and play against the team.

FNC and Origen haven't had any 0-2 weeks, but they've both got an 0-2 record against G2. Overall, each are 5-4 against playoff teams, but have not lost to any non-playoff teams this season, and they are tied in the head to head. That shows some stability, but also may suggest a defined ceiling for the team. They'll want to break through that in the playoffs to press towards MSI.

MAD Lions sit at 10-6 with Rogue and Misfits right behind at 9-7. These are the three teams who will fight for the final spot in the winners' bracket. Rogue has by far the easiest Week 9 schedule, playing SK and S04, with a combined total of 7 wins between the two. Misfits plays the 1-15 Vitality, but also G2, and MAD plays both Origen and FNC, who will be hungry for a possible 1st seed.
