The Korea Association of Game Industry (K-GAMES, Chairman Jo Yeong-gi) met with game-related organizations and companies in the Chungcheong region at the Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency (President Lee Eun-hak) on the 22nd to discuss collaborative measures for the mutual development of the game industry.
The meeting was organized to bring together 'game industry professionals' working in the field to share their perspectives and identify practical tasks for cooperation.
Attendees included representatives from K-GAMES, Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency President Lee Eun-hak, and Cheongju Cultural Industry Promotion Foundation Director Ahn Seung-hyeon, alongside regional game company officials: △Na Hyeon-gyu (CEO, Dumaru), △Lee Ji-baek (CEO, Dimong), △Shin In-geon (CEO, Longplay Studio), △Kim Hyeon-ah (CEO, Minimum Studio), △Jeong Won-yeong (Director, Signature Games), △Jeon Seong-sik (CEO, MP Games), and △Choi Woo-yeol (PM, 1HP Studio).
Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on key tasks to revitalize the regional game ecosystem, including △fostering competitive game talent, △expanding customized production support for each growth stage, and △establishing systems for commercialization and investment linkage.
K-GAMES Chairman Jo Yeong-gi stated, "The game industry is a core future industry with infinite potential for expansion beyond regional boundaries," adding, "The association will continue to strengthen regional cooperation to foster mutual growth in the game industry."
