Kakao Games (CEO Han Sang-woo) announced on the 22nd that it has updated its MMORPG 'ArcheAge War' with new hunting grounds, dungeons, and class balance adjustments.

The update introduces the 'Cursed Ruins,' the final hunting ground in the 'Inister' region of the Eastern Continent. Designed with two difficulty levels to match player progression, the area is accessible to a wide range of users.

In celebration of the spring season, cherry blossom-themed seasonal cosmetics have been added. These include two class appearances (one Legendary, one Heroic) and one mount appearance (Heroic), featuring seasonal designs such as 'Spring Pioneer,' 'Flower-Adorned Yata,' and 'Lazy Lamb.'

Class balance adjustments were also implemented. Reflecting player feedback, the first phase of balancing includes adding dash skills to melee classes (one-handed sword, two-handed sword, magic sword, dagger, two-handed mace, and scimitar) and increasing the range of key abilities. Additionally, the 'Musketeer' class, which previously dominated in PvP, has had the cooldowns of its 'target release' skills adjusted, while its hunting efficiency and sustainability have been improved to enhance combat stability and endurance.

Content has also been expanded. In the 'Forbidden Labyrinth,' players can now obtain 'Shards of Honor' and 'Remnants of Reign,' which are materials used in the new 'Limited Crafting System' to create Legendary-grade items.

In addition, the dungeons 'Echo of Neve' and 'Forgotten Neve's Cave,' previously available only on existing servers, have been added to the 'Gdelon' server. These dungeons operate in a structure separate from the existing servers, allowing only 'Gdelon' server users to participate.

Various events are being held to commemorate the update. On existing servers, players can participate in the '14-Day Gift' attendance event and the 'Magic Lucky Box' event, which offer rewards such as selection boxes for summon tickets and enhancement scrolls.

The 'Gredelon' server features its own exclusive events. Through the 'Gredelon Attendance Gift' and 'Lucky Key Season 4,' players can obtain high-value rewards, including Legendary summon ticket selection boxes and Legendary challenge ticket selection boxes.

A Kakao Games representative stated, "With this update, we aimed to provide a more diverse combat experience through new hunting grounds, content expansion, and class balance adjustments," adding, "We will continue to enhance the unique fun of 'ArcheAge War' through consistent updates and stable service."
