Huanmie Wins 2025 TFT Paris Open

Huanmie emerged victorious at the 2025 Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Paris Open on Sunday, securing the Tactician’s Belt and a $100,000 grand prize after a dramatic five-game final. The three-day event drew thousands of fans to the French capital and featured the largest open-bracket competition in TFT history.

A total of 768 competitors entered the Main Event bracket, surpassing previous attendance marks for the annual open tournament. Players from around the world battled through multiple stages before the field narrowed to a final lobby that decided the championship. Huanmie’s win capped a weekend that blended high-stakes competition with community-focused programming.

Beyond the Main Event, the Paris Open offered a range of on-site experiences designed to broaden the event’s appeal. Attendees explored TFT’s first-ever Artist Alley, met Lore & Legends cosplayers, joined co-streamer watchalongs, and participated in hands-on demos for Riot Games titles including 2XKO and Riftbound. The expanded show floor reflected Riot’s effort to position the Open as both a competitive showcase and a fan convention.

Huanmie acknowledged the crowd following the win, saying, “I’m super excited and happy right now. I really appreciate the support, especially from the Chinese fans. The atmosphere at the TFT Paris Open was incredible. I hope I can make it to Vegas next year.”

Riot Games also used the Paris Open to share updates on the future of TFT. During on-stage segments, Executive Producer Geoffrey Virtue and Game Director Peter Whalen outlined plans for 2026, including the return of a popular Set Revival in January: TFT Set 4.5, Fates: Festival of Beasts. The pair also teased multiple sets scheduled for release next year and confirmed a technology update planned for Set 18.

Additional news came earlier in the week at a pre-event media mixer, where Michael Sherman, Global Head of TFT and Emerging Esports, announced that the TFT Open will return to the United States in 2026 with the TFT Vegas Open.

Teamfight Tactics Esports hosts several global competitions each year, including three Tactician’s Crowns and the TFT Open. Players advance through pan-regional events and the TFT Pro Circuit, with top performers earning qualification spots for international finals. The Open, held at the end of the competitive year, brings together hundreds of players in an open-bracket LAN format, serving as both a capstone event and an entry point for aspiring competitors.
