Arc System Works Asia has announced that the new playable character 'Jam Kuradoberi' was released on Thursday, April 9, alongside the latest update for the 2.5D fighting game 'Guilty Gear -Strive-' on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows. The company also confirmed the rollout of the major free Ver. 2.00 patch and released full details.

Jam is an infighter character who unleashes powerful, wave-like offensives, overwhelming opponents with rapid approaches and a diverse array of guard-breaking techniques. Players who purchased the 'GGST Season Pass 5' bundle can access the character without a separate purchase.

■ Major Free Update 'Ver. 2.00' and 'Season Pass 5' Launch

The major free update 'Ver. 2.00' has been applied. This update introduces new characters, stages, and features, alongside expanded functionality, a main menu renewal, expanded rank matches, a battle version update (Ver. 5.00), and numerous improvements, including bug fixes.

Additionally, a new system called 'Blazing Pass,' which allows players to earn rewards through gameplay, is scheduled for release in May 2026, with various other updates planned.
