Riot Games has revealed the full list of award categories for the 2025 LCK Awards, outlining how teams and players will be recognized for their performances throughout the League of Legends Champions Korea season.
The ceremony is scheduled for Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. local time at the CJ ENM Center in Sangam-dong, Seoul, and will be streamed live online through multiple platforms. The annual event honors individual excellence and team achievements from across the regular season and playoffs in Korea’s top League of Legends competition.
According to Riot Games, awards will be presented to players who finished first in several statistical categories tracked throughout the 2025 season. These include Gold Earned, Kill-Death-Assist ratio (KDA), and objective steals. Among players named weekly Gold King during the regular season, the one with the most selections will receive the Woori WON Banking Gold King Award, a sponsor-backed honor.
Other performance-based awards include the Upbit Best KDA Player Award, given to the player with the highest KDA over the year, and the POSCO FANTASTEAL Award for the player with the most Dragon steals. Additional honors recognize first bloods, champion diversity, and highlight-worthy moments.
New and returning honors shape 2025 ceremony
Several new awards have been added to the 2025 LCK Awards lineup. These include the Most Solo Kills Award, the Re-Rise Award for a player who rebounded from a difficult period, and the Sportsmanship Award, which recognizes professionalism and conduct. Riot Games said these additions are intended to broaden the scope of recognition beyond pure statistics.
Fan-facing awards will also return, including Best Moment and Best Shorts, the latter celebrating short-form video content that resonated with viewers. Sponsor-supported prizes will accompany select categories, with Logitech backing the Most Solo Kills Award and Secretlab supporting the Re-Rise Award.
Beyond individual performance metrics, the ceremony will feature major year-end honors such as Player of the Year, positional awards for each role, Regular Season MVP, Coach of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and the All-LCK First Team. A Contribution Award will also be presented to an individual or organization that supported the league’s growth outside of direct competition.
