Chicago, IL (October 24, 2018)--
Chicago Esports & Gaming is proud to announce the 3rd Annual High School Esports Invitational (HSEI) as well as the first ever Collegiate Esports Invitational (CEI). The invitational will take place November 10th from 8:00am - 8:00pm.

HSEI 2018 will gather high school League of Legends teams from all over the Midwest to compete for funding towards their programs, sponsored gear, and the 2018 HSEI Title! In its inaugural year, the Collegiate Esports Invitational will host the CEI LOL All-Star Tournament. Colleges and universities from all over North America have been invited to nominate outstanding players from their League of Legends rosters to represent them in this groundbreaking event. The tournament will run concurrently with HSEI, which will serve as a premiere scouting ground for college and university esports programs. The event will be streamed lived and will be available online at www.hsei2018.com.

HSEI has grown exponentially year over year and has sparked the growth of hundreds of high school esports teams across the midwest. Having outgrown its previous venue, HSEI + CEI is excited to announce its new location for 2018. This year 2112 (Twenty-One Twelve) will play host to the invitational in their production facility, The Hangar (Fort Knox Studios), located at 4255 N Knox Ave, Chicago, IL 60641.

Produced by Chicago Esports & Gaming, HSEI + CEI is well on its way to becoming one of North America’s premier esports events and is one of the largest varsity esports LAN events in the US. “We are bringing some of the most dynamic and innovative gaming organizations together to take varsity esports to a new level,” says Chicago Esports’ Chief Esports Officer, Andre Whitehead. This year’s event partners include 2112, Mad City, and Midwest Esports.
