T1 Faker: "This season had its ups and downs, but I think we showed our strength."

On Apr. 14, in the grand finals of the 2024 LCK Spring Split, T1 faced Gen.G. T1 fought fiercely, but they weren’t able to overcome their nemesis and fell 2-3. Although lost, T1 secured a spot at the 2024 Mid-Season Invitational. After the finals, T1 head coach Kim “kkOma” Jeong-gyun and mid laner Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok joined the media for a brief interview.

What are your thoughts on today's match?

kkOma: I'm grateful to the players who have worked hard until the end of the Spring Split. I feel regretful that we couldn't win. If I had done a little better, we could have won. Nevertheless, I want to entertain the fans with good games in the upcoming MSI.

Faker: The regret of defeat is greater because it was a game we could have won. However, I learned a lot from today's match, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to compete on a big stage in front of the fans. This season had its ups and downs, but I think we showed our strength.

Can we hear your determination for MSI?

kkOma: I've learned a lot from the Spring Split, and I'll improve on the areas where we were lacking to show a better performance at MSI.

Faker: Throughout this season, we worked well together. Especially after the playoffs, our synergy improved. I'll strive to bring the championship title back to Korea in this MSI.

Any last comments?

kkOma: I'm thankful to the fans who always support us and the players and staff who gave their best until the end. I'll do my best at MSI to make the fans happy.

Faker: Although our goal this season was to win, I believe we are steadily improving. I hope you continue to support us, and we'll return to MSI stronger after taking some time to regroup.
