Worlds 2016 Quarterfinals Day 2: SK Telecom T1 vs Royal Never Give Up

Match Preview

The second quarterfinal match of the 2016 League of Legends World Championship will feature China's Royal Never Give Up against the one and only two-time Worlds champion, SK Telecom T1.

SKT T1 come into the series on a hot streak, as evidenced by their dominant 5W-1L record in the group stages. RNG's road to the quarterfinals has been tougher: they went 3W-3L to advance by virtue of their head-to-head against TSM. Central to RNG's emergence was former World champion Mata's fantastic support play, best reflected by his 84% kill participation.

It has been announced Bengi, not Blank, will be starting in the jungle tomorrow for SKT. Blank has received much criticism for his play throughout the summer season and is yet to turn public opinion around. Will Bengi be able to convincingly reinstate himself as SKT's starting jungler? While his group stage form was promising, we will have to see what happens tomorrow.
