Netmarble is planning for a new BTS game.

Seung Won Lee, Chief Global Officer of Netmarble, announced during the 3Q 2018 conference call on November 8th, that the company is preparing for a new BTS-featured game. Details about the new game have not been revealed. “The new BTS game is still in the planning stage and we’ll announce it when we have more details,” said Mr. Lee.

On top of that, BTS World which was planned to launch this year has been postponed to the 1st quarter of 2019. “We talked with Big Hit Entertainment and changed the launching schedule to be the 1st quarter of the next year,” said Mr. Lee at the conference call.

BTS World is currently being developed by Netmarble and features a collaboration of K-Pop and K-Game. The game includes the OST in which BTS members have done for the first time, and it is also planned to release more than 10,000 exclusive photos and 100 clips. “BTS members practiced acting of more than 100 drama episodes just for this game. It will be a simulation game with actual cinematic images where you can foster each BTS member,” said Jun Hyuk Bang, President of Netmarble, at Netmarble Together with Press (NTP) this year.
