Top Overwatch DPS Player, Fl0w3R, Joins New York Excelsior

Fl0w3R, Hwang Yeon-oh, has joined New York Excelsior.

NYXL announced that Fl0w3R joined their team as the starter via their official social media account on 29th. Born in the year 2000, Fl0w3R was not eligible to play in the Overwatch League due to the age limit; he was active in XL2 Academy, the academy team of NYXL, until he finally came of age and joined NYXL.

Fl0w3R was a former main DPS for LW Blue whose outstanding performance in the Overwatch APEX League left a big impression upon Korean Overwatch fans; he has shown great competitiveness as an Overwatch player by winning in the 2017 Overwatch World Cup.

NYXL had been seen as the most favorable contestant for winning since they placed 1st in the regular season for OWL Season 1 thanks to the skills of players like Saebyeolbe and JJoNak. However, they failed to make it to the finals when they lost to the Philadelphia Fusion in the semifinals.
