Blase, formerly Gladiators Legion, joins Boston Uprising

The Boston Uprising announced Monday that it had acquired Jeffrey "Blase" Tsang for its 2019 Overwatch League roster. Blase is a DPS player who formerly competed on behalf of the Los Angeles Gladiators' Academy team, Gladiators Legion, in North American Overwatch Contenders.

“We are excited to welcome Jeffrey ‘Blasé’ to the Boston Uprising,” said Chris “HuK” Loranger, President of Gaming for The Kraft Group, in the Uprising's official announcement. “We look forward to helping him grow and develop as a player and are thrilled to have him as a part of the team.”

Earlier this off-season, the Uprising released three of their players: DPS Stanislav "Mistakes" Danilov, off-tank Woo-yeol "Kalios" Shin, support Connor "Avast" Prince, and support Mikias "Snow" Yohannes. The signing period for Season 2 of the Overwatch League for all teams closes December 1st; by then, all teams must have at least 8 players under contract.
