Afreeca Freecs complete their roster for next season

The Afreeca Freecs gaming team announced on the 16th that they have recruited Dayoun “Spirit” Lee and Jaeha “Mowgli” Lee (formerly KCN Jaeha) as Junglers and Jongik “TusiN” Park as Support. They also have appointed Gyehyeon Cho as their coach, finalizing the team’s strategic structure.

As a former member of Samsung Galaxy Blue, Spirit brought victory to the team in the 2014 LCK and the 2014 LoL Masters. With his skilled attacks and years of experience in international stages such as WE (China) and Fnatic (Europe), Spirit is expected to lead Afreeca Freecs to victory.

Mowgli used to be the main Jungler for the KeG Chungnam team in the last KeSPA Cup, where he showed us some impressive plays. He is known to have a few Challenger accounts, which proves his skills as a gamer, and will be entering university next year as a special admittance student. We are anxious to see if he will be a rising star in next year’s LCK.

The final recruit, TusiN, used to be the main Support for Longzhu Gaming (formerly called Longzhu IM). He had changed his role to Jungler, but has come back to Support as he joined Afreeca Freecs. He will be taking the bottom lane with Jonghoon “Kramer” Ha.

Meanwhile, Afreeca Freecs has appointed Gyehyeon Cho, a former coach for ESC Ever, as their coach. Coach Cho, who led his team to victory in the KeSPA Cup, declined offers from other teams and chose Afreeca Freecs. He spoke on his thoughts about being a coach for Afrreeca Freecs, saying he is “happy to be the team’s coach and will be working towards victory together with manager Choi.”

The head of the Afreeca Freecs gaming team also left some messages for the fans, telling them that he is “hoping their fans will enjoy the 2017 Season and give support to their newly formed team” and he will be “providing the members with everything they need in order to win.”
