Mata: "I thought PraY would play ranged champion, so I picked Yasuo once again."

Sehyung "Mata" Cho revealed the story behind his matchup against Jongin "PraY" Kim.

Mata first explained why he played Yasuo twice in a row. He said, "I did not prepare as many picks for 1v1 Tournament. I thought PraY would play ranged champion, so I picked Yasuo once again."

Right after the bans/picks were decided, Mata dropped the camera as he suddenly slammed on the table. When we asked him about this, he told us, "I suggested a Yasuo 1v1, but PraY refused, and picked Kalista. She's so good for 1v1 and that came to me as a huge surprise, so I unintentionally slammed the desk as I saw it."

[Note: The original article reported PraY had initially agreed to a Yasuo 1v1, but it has come to our attention that PraY had in fact refused the offer. To rectify this error made during the on-site interview, both the Korean and English articles have been updated.]
