GRF Lehends: "There’s still three more strong teams left... we'll do our best to stay undefeated."

In the 2018 LCK Summer Split Day 13, Griffin defeated Kingzone DragonX 2-0. Son “Lehends” Si-woo played Shen support in both games and contributed to the team’s victory by delivering marvelous performance in important moments.

The following is the interview with Lehends.

Q. Congratulations on the win. How do you feel?

I thought Kingzone DragonX is a really good team. I feel good that we were able to overcome the biggest obstacle. Even so, I’ll do my best to prepare for the next match as well.

Q. It seemed like your team kept your cool even after taking down the defending champions.

We were confident of winning. We must have seemed to be calm because we were probably thinking of how to win the next match.

Q. The teamwork is really good. What’s your secret?

Our team’s motto is ‘Five as one’. Our practice is mainly focused on that, like making calls. We’re still on our way to becoming a team that’s worthy of our motto. There’s still a long way to go.

Q. You’re now on a 6-game winning streak. When you first reached the LCK, did you think that you’ll be this good?

Frankly, I thought we would be around 4th or 5th. The players and coach are all doing their best, and I think that’s why we have such good results up to now.

Q. How is it different playing in previous teams and in Griffin?

I became more earnest. I first found out that what I was focusing on game-wise was wrong after I joined Griffin.

Q. How would you rate yourself today?

I didn’t do much today. I only helped out teammates. If I rate myself, I would give myself 6 out of 10.

Q. How do you think of the matches up ahead will go?

I’m thinking of winning all of them. If we can play like today, we can win all of them.

Q. What moment was the most dangerous for your team this season?

The SKT match was. We could have become arrogant and careless at that time. When it first seemed like we were becoming like that, we all refreshed our mindsets and went back to the beginning.

Q. If you have a personal goal, what would it be?

I want to make people think of “Lehends” when they hear “Griffin”.

Q. Any last comments?

I’m thankful to all the fans that cheer for us. There’s still three more strong teams left. We’ll never become careless and we'll to do our best to stay undefeated.
