Yostar held a special livestream today (18th) ahead of the 1st anniversary of its self-developed and published action-adventure RPG, 'Stella Sora'. Stella Sora launched globally on October 20, 2025, and is a game where players explore the massive labyrinth known as the 'Monolith' alongside charming young female Trekkers to solve hidden mysteries. The game sets itself apart with a refreshing, sensible anime visual style and Vampire Survivors-like combat, receiving positive feedback from dedicated players as its story aggressively unfolds ahead of its 1st anniversary.
The broadcast featured key developers, including Lead Planner Luoliang, who introduced Stella Sora's 1st-anniversary updates along with online and offline events.
The Tyrant Awakens to Everyone's Wishes? 1st Anniversary New Story 'Immaculate Garden: Hazy Dawn'
First, on October 20 for the 1st-anniversary update, the first half of the new main story, 'Immaculate Garden: Hazy Dawn', will be released. In the previous chapter, 'The Faraway Tower', the protagonist and player avatar, the Tyrant, realizes that no choice can prevent someone's sacrifice and decides to sacrifice themselves, leading to arrest and execution by the Committee. The newly revealed main story PV shows glimpses of the companions who traveled together longing for the Tyrant's return, concluding with a scene homage to the moment the Tyrant first met the group.
Next was the introduction of the limited 5-star Trekker appearing for the 1st anniversary, 'Seina (Genesis)'. Seina (Genesis) is a Light-attribute Vanguard character featuring two skill modules: the longsword 'Dawn' and the greatsword 'Daybreak'. Dealing damage proportional to her max HP, she is expected to shine as a well-balanced combatant by triggering Light-attribute seals through module switching and special attacks while granting buffs. In particular, the limited Record 'Morning Star Illuminating the Path Ahead' increases the HP of all team members, which is expected to synergize greatly with Seina (Genesis) while significantly improving team survivability.
In addition, by completing event missions running through November 3 under the same name, players can obtain various currencies and items, including the free 5-star Record 'Eternally Sparkling Light', a limited title, Stellanite, Sky Tickets, and Sacred Dew. The first half of the new main story, 'Immaculate Garden: Hazy Dawn', will be released on October 20, and the second half on October 30. The pickup banner for 'Seina (Genesis)' and the limited Record 'Morning Star Illuminating the Path Ahead' will run until November 10.
New Content Additions Including 'Tower of the Tyrant' and Overhauls to In-Game Systems and Balance
To celebrate the 1st anniversary, a variety of new in-game features are being introduced. First, a beta version of the new permanent content 'Tower of the Tyrant' will be released. Tower of the Tyrant is a housing system that allows players to freely decorate their own 'Monolith' and journey 'Campsite'. Completing decorating missions rewards players with Stellanite, Dream Ore, the 'Everyday Living Room' furniture set, and an exclusive title. Additionally, a unique game mode combining auto-battler and TCG mechanics, 'Stella Battler: Echoes of the Immaculate Castle', will be introduced.
Limited-time content includes 'Boost Rush', a racing minigame where players sprint to the finish line in rhythm, and 'Fate House', a card game played under the guidance of two emissaries. Participating in these events yields various materials and currencies such as Stellanite, Ancient Coins, and Sprout Tickets.
System revamps reflecting user feedback are also on the way. The max account level cap, 'Authority Level', will be raised from 40 to 60, and balance buffs will be applied to 5 existing Trekkers, including 'Gray' and 'Nanoha'. Furthermore, higher difficulty levels will be added to endgame content such as 'Infinite Ring (Stages 21 & 22)' and 'Trial of Emblems', alongside overall quality-of-life improvements including expanded Monolith sweep functions, automatic selection of Destiny Cards in defense battles, and a rerun exchange system for past free Records.
In addition, Sia's new 3D skin 'Invitation to the Coral Sea' and Pyrene's new 3D skin 'Fatal Temptation Femme Fatale' will be released, while popular 3D skins such as 'As Snow Melts, To You (Gray)', 'Blooming Morning Glory, Awakened Girl (Chitose)', and 'Love Coco Valentine (Misty)' will return for a rerun. Furthermore, two skins—'Warmth of Sunshine (Seina)' and 'When Unfamiliar Winds Blow (Nanoha)'—will transition to permanent availability in the shop.
More Than In-Game Rewards: Stella Sora's 1st Anniversary Extends to Offline Festivals
A variety of rewards have been prepared to commemorate the 1st anniversary. First, through three attendance and login events running from October 20 to November 10, players can receive Seina's exclusive skin 'A Moment of Rest, By Your Side' for free, as well as 20 Genesis Limited Tickets, 6,000 Genesis Discs, and 1 Sacred Dew based on cumulative logins. Additionally, 100 'Bonds of Reunion Limited Tickets' will be awarded for cumulative attendance.
Along with this, news on global online and offline events was announced. First, Official OST Vol.1 featuring theme songs sung by the Blank Brigade trio (Seina, Kohaku, Ayame), including 'Three Colors, Three Styles!' and 'Let's Go Together!', will be released on streaming platforms. In Japan, an Akihabara pop-up store and street campaign will take place for the 1st anniversary, along with the release of an official artbook.
In Korea, a special 1st-anniversary contest will kick off on the 20th. The contest will cover three categories: Illustration, Video, and Live Streaming. Submissions for Illustration and Video will run from October 20 to November 20, while Live Streaming submissions close on October 27. In addition, a CHZZK Drops event will be held to mark the 1st anniversary. Players who watch Stella Sora-related broadcasts for a designated period can earn in-game rewards, with detailed event rules and participation methods to be announced on social media later. Furthermore, a Stella Sora KakaoTalk theme featuring pajama versions of the Blank Brigade and the Tyrant will be released in celebration of the 1st anniversary.
Additionally, two linked offline events will take place around Hongik University Station from October 23 to 25. First, the Stella Sora 1st Anniversary Pop-Up Store will operate on the 2nd floor of AK Plaza Hongdae in 'SPACE V' from October 23 to 25. Entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis without prior reservation, featuring 1st-anniversary merchandise, giveaway events, and four-cut photo booths with exclusive 1st-anniversary frames.
Choroki, who traveled alongside the protagonist's party, will also make an appearance in Hongdae. From October 24 to 25, the Choroki Truck will appear at the plaza in front of Hongik University Station Exit 3 to distribute free special drinks to players who have enjoyed Stella Sora. Special guests are also scheduled to appear and meet with fans.
