SKYWALK has secured the global service business rights and joint IP ownership for Welcome to My Home and is preparing to relaunch the service. According to SKYWALK, the game has accumulated 4.9 million registered users globally since its launch in August 2016.
The acquisition of these rights was finalized through an agreement with Kakao Games and METABORA. SKYWALK now holds the operational rights to publish Welcome to My Home, along with practical development and business authority, including creating future titles based on the IP.
SKYWALK's top priority is to reopen the previously shut-down global service for Welcome to My Home. Starting with South Korea, the company plans to resume service worldwide, including Japan, Greater China, and English-speaking regions. The game's service title in Japan is おいでよマイホーム, and in Greater China, it is 歡迎來我家.
Welcome to My Home is a mobile social network game (SNG). Based on its independent development, business, and operational authority, SKYWALK plans to build a warm and heartwarming service experience.
A SKYWALK representative expressed gratitude to the players who waited for the game and thanked Kakao Games and METABORA for their cooperation in securing the rights. The representative added that the company will make every effort to resume service as soon as possible.
