Gravity's Hong Kong branch, Gravity Game Vision (GGV), opened pre-registration for its idle retro pixel RPG 'Ragnarok: GO' in the Southeast Asian region on October 16. Pre-registration will run until the official launch.
Players can participate via the game's official website as well as Google Play and the Apple App Store in each Southeast Asian region. All users who pre-register on the official website will receive in-game items to support early progression after the official launch, along with a limited Poring-themed costume set.
Ragnarok: GO is a new title based on the Ragnarok IP that boosts character progression and gameplay speed. Players can nurture their characters through intuitive controls and an idle system, and the game also features an offline mode to reduce the burden of long play sessions.
The graphics carry forward a classic pixel art aesthetic based on the original game's Norse mythology world and character/monster designs. In combat, the 2D pixel graphics are augmented with vivid skill effects, enhanced impact feedback, and detailed boss battle presentations.
Kim Jin-hwan, President of Gravity Game Vision, stated, "This new title retains the classic sensibility unique to the Ragnarok IP while allowing players to experience enhanced visuals built on vibrant pixel art."
According to Gravity, global cumulative accounts for the Ragnarok IP surpassed approximately 250 million as of June 30, 2026. The Ragnarok IP ranked 2nd among the most preferred Korean games in Global Hallyu Trends from 2019 to 2022, and 3rd in the Overseas Korean Wave Survey from 2023 to 2025. In the 2025 Overseas Market Korean Game User Survey, Ragnarok Online placed 3rd in the primary Korean PC games played category in Taiwan and Brazil.
Further details regarding pre-registration can be found on the official 'Ragnarok: GO' website.
