Daewon Media announced that, in collaboration with U&I Entertainment, pre-orders for the physical edition of the Hello Kitty Island Adventure Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Friendship Bundle will open on the 16th. Featuring Korean language support, this bundle will officially be released in South Korea on November 20.
This package includes the base game alongside the 'City Town' and 'Wheatflour Wonderland' DLCs on a single game card. Both the base game and the two DLCs can be played without additional downloads, and the game is rated for all ages. Online play allows two players to explore the island and undertake quests together.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition features improved frame rates and high-resolution graphics. It also supports camera play features and Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, allowing players to enjoy activities such as festivals, character customization, and item crafting.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure is an adventure game where players explore 'Friendship Island' with their own custom avatar. While uncovering hidden secrets on the island and restoring an abandoned theme park, players experience various activities including puzzle-solving and cooking. They can also build friendships with Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, and My Melody to experience their individual stories.
The DLCs offer distinct regions and activities. In 'City Town', players run a cafe in the city alongside U*SA*HA*NA. Players can decorate the cafe to their liking or open new shops with Sanrio characters.
'Wheatflour Wonderland' features an adventure where players meet new characters, including the flour fairy Cogimyun, and solve mysteries using a magic wand. Both DLCs also include new quests and collectible items.
