LINE Games Corporation announced on the 16th that PC Early Access for its self-developed title Ember and Blade will begin on January 8, 2027. The target platforms are Steam and the Epic Games Store.
According to LINE Games, Ember and Blade reached #1 in top demos upon entering the Epic Games Store in October 2025 and was selected as one of the store's most anticipated games of 2026. At Steam Next Fest in the second half of 2025, it ranked high across major genre categories, including hack-and-slash and action RPG.
Ember and Blade is a premium survivors-like game featuring vibrant graphics and fast-paced action where players wipe out incoming waves of enemies. Reflecting player feedback, the development team has polished the demo multiple times, completely redesigning the core structure of combat in the recently released Demo 2.0.
A console release is also in preparation. According to the provided schedule, launches have been confirmed for PlayStation 5 (PS5) in June and Xbox in September.
Ahead of Early Access, LINE Games has been expanding its touchpoints with players by participating in global gaming events such as the Galaxies Autumn Showcase 2026 and The MIX Fall Showcase 2026. The company plans to focus on boosting the game's polish before the PC Early Access launch.
