Com2uS Platform announced on the 16th that it hosted a B2B seminar in Tokyo, Japan, attended by approximately 50 industry professionals, including local game developers and publishers.
Com2uS Platform, a subsidiary of Com2uS Holdings, co-hosted the event with Japanese gaming company MYNET Inc. and Korean game rewards platform Playio. The three companies introduced their platform technologies and business capabilities while discussing global game service strategies and potential collaborations.
Com2uS Platform's presentation focused on preparations required for global game services. The company explained how its Game Backend-as-a-Service (GBaaS), Hive, provides an all-in-one solution for essential global operational features—ranging from logins and payments to web shops, community management, data analytics, and customer support. It also covered the latest trends in the Korean mobile gaming market.
MYNET presented on the characteristics of core gamers in Korea and Japan alongside long-term live service know-how, while Playio shared East Asian market strategies based on user data. During the networking session following the presentations, participating companies shared their expertise and outlined actionable collaboration plans to bridge the Korean and Japanese gaming markets.
The three companies plan to expand their partnership by combining their respective areas of expertise, aiming to support Japanese game studios entering Korean and global markets, as well as Korean studios establishing a foothold in Japan.
