Nexon announced on the 15th that two Korean players will compete in the FC Pro Mobile World Championship 2026 for FC Mobile (EA SPORTS FC Mobile). Featuring 32 participants from around the world, the tournament has a total prize pool of $250,000.
Representing Korea will be 'Ahina' Yoo Chang-ho and 'Circle' Kwon Min-seok. Participating players were selected through regional qualifiers and official FC Mobile tournaments. The winner will receive $60,000, while the runner-up will be awarded $40,000, and the joint third-place finishers will each receive $20,000.
The event will take place from the 21st to the 25th at the DDP Showroom in Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Jung-gu, Seoul, operated by the Seoul Business Agency (SBA). Concluding the first season of FC Pro Mobile, the official global esports tournament launched this year, the competition will determine the inaugural world champion. Previously in August, the first global offline event was held in Bangkok, Thailand. FC Mobile is developed by Electronic Arts and published by Nexon.
The group stage will take place on the 21st and 22nd. The 32 players will be divided into eight groups of four, with the top two from each group—16 players in total—advancing to the knockout stage. The Round of 16 tournament will be held on the 23rd and 24th, leading to the grand final on the 25th to crown the champion.
For the final, 230 players selected by lottery from pre-registered users will be invited to attend. Pre-registration is available through the FC Mobile in-game event page, and the venue will feature an influencer squad consultation booth and an FC Mobile experience zone.
All matches will be broadcast live on official channels of tournament operator SOOP, as well as on YouTube and CHZZK. Detailed information regarding the tournament is available on the official FC Mobile website.
