Cosmos Entertainment announced on October 15 that it is updating 'Cheongeum Village,' a new region for the 'Cheongeum Server' in Online Samgukji 2. In this area, players can access 'Tempering,' an equipment progression system with a 100% success rate.
'Tempering' is a system that boosts the final stats of weapons and armor. If players do not get the options they desire, they can retry using existing currencies such as 'Mark of Awakening' and 'Demon Gem,' allowing them to continue developing equipment according to their goals.
To enter 'Cheongeum Village,' players need 'Cheongeum Fragments' obtained by defeating ferocious monsters in specific hunting grounds. Inside the region lies a secret forge where the legendary artisan NPC 'Cheongeum Artisan' resides. Teased since the server's initial launch, 'Cheongeum Village' was designed so that gathering materials through hunting directly leads to equipment progression.
This update is progression content following the 'Advent 2.0' promotion held earlier this month. While 'Advent 2.0' provided new and returning players with Level 100 jumping and equipment support, this update allows players to aim for higher equipment growth through hunting and farming.
An official from Online Samgukji 2 stated, “Cheongeum Village was designed so that a broad range of players can enjoy its benefits without it becoming exclusive to top-tier players.” They added, “We will reward players taking on the challenge to craft top-tier gear with fitting new battlegrounds and content.”
