NEXUS announced on October 12 that its Dubai entity, NEXUS HUB FZCO, has been selected for the 2025 edition of the UAE's Future 100 initiative. The company was named under the Creative Industries sector.
According to data provided by NEXUS, Future 100 is a national enterprise support initiative that annually selects 100 promising startups and scale-ups. Since its inaugural edition in 2023, a cumulative total of 3,395 applications and recommendations have yielded 300 selected companies across 17 sectors.
The initiative is jointly led by the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism and the Office of Development and the Future. It targets companies expected to contribute to the UAE's future economic sectors, with selected businesses receiving support such as permission to use the official label, opportunities for government agency collaboration, and connections to investment and market entry.
The official Future 100 report outlined NEXUS's business scope as development, publishing, distribution, blockchain, and AI, introducing it as a full-stack gaming company. According to the report, NEXUS is building transaction infrastructure designed to process micro and high-frequency transactions from games and AI agents more efficiently than conventional payment networks.
NEXUS HUB conducts its global operations by leveraging Dubai as a base to discover game studios and pursue publishing partnerships across regions including the Middle East and Europe. Under a joint publishing program operated with the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) Gaming Centre, participating developers receive support including global distribution through ONEstore and blockchain integration.
NEXUS secured content distribution channels by acquiring a stake in ONEstore in June 2026. Centering its strategy on ONEstore, the company connects game distribution and payments with blockchain services, while also linking its game-specific blockchain ONEchain and web-based in-game item storefront ONEshop.
NEXUS CEO Jang Hyun-guk said, "This selection reflects recognition of NEXUS's strategy and growth potential as we have established Dubai as a global business hub." He added, "By combining Dubai's collaborative network with ONEstore's distribution and payment capabilities, we will support Korean and UAE game companies in expanding globally while broadening the operational stage for our AI and blockchain gaming platform."
