Actor Don Lee will make a surprise voice appearance in the upcoming Street Fighter movie.
On October 12, Lotte Entertainment announced that Don Lee will make a special appearance in the film Street Fighter. Lee will voice Gouken, the master of Ryu and Ken. As the master who taught martial arts to Ryu and Ken, Gouken is set to play an important role in understanding the deep relationship between the two.
In an accompanying video release, Don Lee shared a greeting, saying, "I made a special appearance in Street Fighter as Master Gouken, the teacher of Ryu and Ken. Please come to theaters to see which of the students I taught learned better."

Set in 1993, Street Fighter follows main characters Ryu and Ken after they are recruited by Chun-Li to join the World Warrior Tournament and dive back into combat. Behind this battle royale, however, lies a conspiracy that forces the two to turn their fists against each other and confront their dark pasts.
Beyond Ryu and Ken, the film features many fan-favorite characters, including Guile, Chun-Li, Cammy, Blanka, Dhalsim, and Zangief, alongside iconic moves such as the Hadouken and spinning kick.
Kitao Sakurai directed and wrote the screenplay, with T. J. Fixman co-writing. The film is produced by Legendary Pictures and Capcom. Andrew Koji and Noah Centineo play Ryu and Ken, respectively, with Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Jason Momoa as Blanka, 50 Cent as Balrog (M. Bison), and Orville Peck as Vega (Balrog).
The live-action film Street Fighter opens in theaters on October 14.
