The starting mid laner for match 3 was 'Zeka' Kim Geon-woo. South Korea fielded 'Zeka' against Chinese Taipei and 'Faker' against India, securing two consecutive wins as expected. For the final group stage match against Hong Kong, 'Zeka' took the stage once again.
South Korea drafted a composition of Ambessa, Lee Sin, Ryze, Jhin, and Bard, while Hong Kong, taking a bold gamble by swapping top and bot lane positions, selected Tristana, Trundle, Syndra, K'Sante, and Alistar.

With the win over Hong Kong, South Korea secured first place in Group B with a 3-0 record. The semifinals will take place the very next day, October 1. South Korea's opponent will be Group A runner-up Saudi Arabia, with the match scheduled for 1:30 PM KST. At 9:00 AM, Group A winner Vietnam will face Group B runner-up Chinese Taipei.
