Smilegate has added "Co-op Battle," a new party instance dungeon for 4 to up to 5 players, along with various system improvements to Eclipse: The Awakening, the MMORPG developed by NPIXEL (hereinafter referred to as Eclipse).
The newly introduced party dungeon 'Co-op Battle' is content where players form a party of at least 4 to up to 5 members through automatic matching to defeat bosses. Two bosses, 'Lacerien' and 'Tulkan', are featured in this dungeon, and players can defeat them within a set time limit to obtain rewards including up to Heroic-grade 'Skill Books' and 'Stigmata', as well as Rare-grade 'Equipment Blueprints'.
Numerous in-game improvements promised by Lead Producer Sang-mun Lee during player communication channels were also included in this update. To aid character progression, a new 'Growth Effect' system has been established, providing cumulative stats based on the total combined growth stages of 'Transcendence' and 'Weapon Appearances'. As a result, players can continuously utilize their previously leveled Transcendence and Weapon Appearances for character growth regardless of tier. Additionally, the scope of AI Mode support has been expanded so that players can utilize artificial intelligence in 'Normal Dungeons' as well.
The opening of new worlds to expand the service environment also continues. Smilegate will open a new world, 'Celine', on the 2nd of next month to create a smooth gameplay environment. The 'Celine' world will operate as an independent matching group where three servers are grouped together, allowing players within that group to play cooperative and competitive content together across server boundaries.
