Riot Games will release "Know My Name," the official anthem and music video for the 2026 League of Legends (LoL) World Championship (Worlds), on October 9 at 10:00 AM.
Virtual hip-hop group True Damage performed the anthem. True Damage is a parallel-universe virtual artist group introduced by Riot Games in 2019, consisting of five LoL champions: Akali, Ekko, Qiyana, Senna, and Yasuo. Akali and Ekko serve as rappers, Qiyana as a vocalist and rapper, Senna as a vocalist, and Yasuo as a DJ and producer, with SOYEON of i-dle providing the voice for Akali. After winning over fans with their debut song "GIANTS" in 2019, the group reunited after roughly seven years, with SOYEON returning as the voice of Akali.
This marks the first time a Riot Games virtual artist has performed a World Championship anthem. Built on True Damage's signature hip-hop sound, the track will capture the ambition and determination of players competing for the top. The music video focuses on the challenges and growth experienced by Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok and T1 on their journey to a historic three-peat. Beyond scenes of achieving the three-peat, the video and music will weave a single narrative showcasing the process of how Sang-hyeok and the roster transformed while overcoming defeats and obstacles.
True Damage will also perform "Know My Name" at the Finals Opening Ceremony held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on November 15 (KST). The music video will premiere on the official League of Legends YouTube channel on October 9, with the single available on streaming platforms the same day.
