AMD has officially launched the world's first agentic PCs powered by the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 400 series. Featuring up to 192GB of unified memory, these systems enable local processing of AI models with up to 300 billion parameters as well as complex multi-agent workflows.
The lineup includes the HP ZBook Ultra G3a, a 16-inch mobile workstation. Featuring a thin and light design with pre-installed Perplexity Computer, it targets professionals who require AI computing performance on the go.
For the desktop lineup, the Framework Desktop and GMKtec EVO-X5 Pro are available. Both systems are compact workstations designed to leverage local AI computing in development and professional work environments.
The Lenovo ThinkCentre X Ultra is also scheduled for release. Announced at IFA 2026, this 1.6L ultra-compact desktop workstation is built for enterprise AI, featuring a clusterable architecture that supports scaling demanding agentic workloads.
AMD is bringing personal AI solutions across various form factors, including mobile and desktop. This allows developers, enterprises, and creators to build and test agentic AI applications locally while maintaining privacy and user control.
