SEGA Publishing Korea announced that it released 'Lords of the End Times', a new DLC for Total War: WARHAMMER 3 developed by The Creative Assembly Limited, on September 24. The DLC adds four Legendary Lords and 23 battlefield units alongside a major game update.
'Lords of the End Times' is the largest DLC created in the 10-year history of the Total War series. Built around the apocalyptic 'End Times' setting, it introduces the new Legendary Lords to the 'Immortal Empires' campaign. It supports the Windows platform.
The four new Legendary Lords are Nagash, the Supreme Lord of Undeath who seeks to ascend to godhood by draining life from the world; Boris Todbringer, the Elector Count of Middenland who fights to defend the Empire and rekindle the Flame of Ulric; The Glottkin, who spreads the Gardens of Nurgle; and Thanquol, who hatches diabolical schemes with cunning.
Each Lord leads new units into battle. Additions include the 'Khemric Titan', a scarab-shaped construct brought to life by magic; the 'Verminlord', a daemonic incarnation of the Horned Rat; the 'Putrid Blightkings', warbands infected by daemon flies; and the 'Celestial Hurricanum', a war altar imbued with the Winds of Magic.
The DLC content consists of four Legendary Lords, eight Legendary Heroes, five generic Lords and Heroes, 23 battlefield units, and 12 Regiments of Renown. Gameplay mechanics, features, and objectives tailored to each Lord have also been introduced.
The game update features the new Legendary Lord 'Neferata'. It reworks the 'Vampire Counts' and 'Archaon the Everchosen' factions, while introducing revamped late-game scenarios such as 'Chaos Invasion', 'Vermintide', and 'Nagash Rises'. Victory conditions for existing Legendary Lords have also been updated.
The Total War series has recorded over 48.3 million copies sold to date. Centered on historical titles, the franchise has expanded its reach into mobile, fantasy, and games depicting historical moments.
