Valofe will launch the global closed beta test (CBT) for its PC MMORPG Icarus Online at 3:00 PM on the 29th. Reflecting player enthusiasm, the schedule has been extended by one day, running through October 6.
Icarus Online began global pre-registration and CBT participant recruitment on the 10th. Since then, interest in new content has continued across various platforms, including its official community, ORVVIT. Taking this into account, Valofe pushed back the end date by one day from the original plan.
Test participants will be able to experience key content alongside improved character progression and gameplay. Drawing on operational experience accumulated from servicing MMORPGs domestically and internationally, Valofe plans to provide new content and an improved progression structure.
Separate items will be handed out during the test period. All participants will also receive pre-registration rewards and special items following the official launch.
Ahead of the CBT, Valofe has maintained communication on ORVVIT by responding to game-related inquiries and suggestions from global users.
A Valofe representative stated, "To meet the interest and expectations shown by players through global pre-registration and CBT recruitment for 'Icarus Online,' we have extended the global CBT schedule by one day," adding, "Through this CBT, we will review diverse feedback from global users to polish service quality and ensure we deliver higher satisfaction and a superior gameplay experience at official launch."
