Wargaming will host a DOOM-themed Battle Pass special chapter in World of Tanks from October 1 to 12. The event introduces five characters, exclusive customization items, and a special tank.
In this special chapter, five DOOM characters appear as commanders. Players can recruit 'Doomguy', 'Doom Slayer', 'Samuel Hayden', 'Commander Thira', and 'The Betrayer', with 'Doom Slayer' and 'The Betrayer' offered as Base Rewards. The characters feature voice performances by the original voice actors, and 'Doomguy' also includes his signature grunts and groans.
The event also adds the DOOM-inspired 'FV225 Mk. BFG' 3D style and the 'FV225 Collector' tank featuring this style. The tank boasts an exterior representing Argent Energy, and its twin guns function similarly to the researchable British double-barreled heavy tanks.
Players can also collect two 3D attachment sets inspired by different eras of DOOM. The 'Doomguy's Keepsakes' set, themed after classic DOOM, consists of the 'DOOM Ornament', 'Chaingun', 'Classic HUD', 'Demon Disposal Kit', and 'Marine's Stash'.
Inspired by the modern trilogy, the 'Fight Like Hell' set includes the 'BFG9000', 'UAC Rocket Launcher', 'Cacodemon', 'Slayer's Stash', and 'Slayer Suit' attachments. DOOM-themed 2D styles including 'Praetor', 'Maykr', and 'The Dark Ages' are also available.
The Battle Pass background screen features DOOM soundtracks. Players can apply the 'IDDQD' inscription to their main tank and complete special combat missions to unlock additional rewards.
