Riot Games' strategy game Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is hosting the 'TFT AIR FORCE CUP (hereinafter Air Force Cup)' for active-duty Air Force soldiers in partnership with the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROK Air Force). Applications will be accepted through October 6, and eight finalists will compete on October 25 for reward leave and prize money.
Hosted by the Air Force, the 'Air Force Cup' is the first official amateur TFT tournament for Air Force soldiers. Applications will open on September 28 through announcements on each military unit's website. Any active-duty Air Force soldier is eligible to apply, while officers, non-commissioned officers, and civilian defense employees are excluded.
The main tournament and finals will take place from October 22 to 25 at the '2026 Sacheon Airshow (hereinafter Sacheon Airshow)'. The 16 players who advance to the main tournament will receive Riot Store merchandise and an 'Air Force Cup Participant Limited Patch.' The eight players who advance through the main tournament will face off in the finals on October 25, with reward leave awarded differentially based on their final standings.
On-site programs for general visitors will also be operated. On October 24, TFT influencers will team up with visitors to compete in 'Double Up' mode. An experiential space themed around Set 18 'Enchanted Wilds' will also be prepared.
Junwoo Kim, TFT Korea Publishing Lead, said, “This is the first time TFT is holding an official amateur tournament for Air Force soldiers,” adding, “We will do our best to repay the interest of Air Force soldiers who enjoy playing TFT on mobile even during their limited leisure time.”
The finals and influencer event will be broadcast live on the official Riot Games Korea Chzzk channel, the official TFT YouTube channel, and the official TFT SOOP channel. Detailed information can be found on the tournament's official Discord.
