The South Korean national 'Honor of Kings' team's bid for a medal ended in the quarterfinals.
On September 27, South Korea defeated Myanmar 2-0 in the preliminary stage of 'Honor of Kings' at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, held at Aichi Sky Expo. After advancing through the preliminaries to the quarterfinals, South Korea lost the subsequent match against the Philippines, failing to reach the semifinals.
Led by Head Coach Jang Hyeong-jun, the national team squad was composed of Jeong Yun-ho, Lee Seob-gyu, Han Ji-hoon, Cho Seong-bin, Lee Hoon-min, and Han Seong-geon. Although they got off to a good start with a decisive win over Myanmar, they were unable to overcome the Philippines in their first knockout stage match, concluding the tournament in the quarterfinals.
