Coffee Shop Ichigo, run by the retired mage Léa, is a clan naturally formed by employees who gathered there due to their own circumstances. Based in Taito Ward, Tokyo, it is a coffee shop where staff serve customers with an animal-eared maid concept. Uniquely, Coffee Shop Ichigo is open to both regular civilians and mages alike.

Natsume Souka is a staff member at Coffee Shop Ichigo who handles barista duties, serving, and cooking. Although she looks young, she is actually a college student about to graduate, having frequented Ichigo before settling down and somehow becoming an employee. In reality, she has a sensitive and delicate personality, seemingly deeply concerned about her future.

Sakuba Yuki is Coffee Shop Ichigo's poster girl, who calls herself a samurai. Originally a wanderer, she was taken in by Ichigo's master. With her innocent and diligent attitude, she blended into the shop's daily life in the blink of an eye. However, due to her energetic and high-spirited personality, she often bumps into things or trips, leaving Coffee Shop Ichigo with barely any intact plates. Even so, her love for the shop is second to none.

Léa Wurtz is a retired mage with a very intimidating appearance. Nowadays, her routine consists of handing off all shop operations to Souka while sitting back without lifting a finger during business hours to read the newspaper. In particular, she is entirely the reason Coffee Shop Ichigo was reborn as an animal-eared maid kissaten. Whether she intended it or not, her lax management approach is precisely what allowed Coffee Shop Ichigo to become a place frequented by both civilians and mages.
