Cosmos Entertainment announced on September 18 that it is hosting server merge, transfer, and Chuseok events for its classic MMORPG, Online Samgukji 2.
The Myeongin server, launched in 2020, and the Bukbeol server, launched in 2022, will undergo a consolidation policy aligned with the progress of the Cheongeum server. The company explained that it established the consolidation criteria to narrow gaps between servers while taking item market prices and power levels into account.
The Chosim server, launched in 2024, will remain active, while an event will allow players to choose whether to transfer to the Cheongeum server. The transfer application period runs from September 22 to October 1. Transfers will be processed sequentially according to application orders, and the period may be extended if applicant volume is high.
The Chuseok Songpyeon event runs until October 1. Players can defeat field monsters for a chance to obtain Songpyeon, which provides buff effects. Players can also craft "Golden Honey Rice Cakes," which grant large amounts of EXP, and the time-limited item "Cheoninjijeok."
A representative from Online Samgukji 2 stated, "We have prepared various events so that players can spend a meaningful time with Online Samgukji 2 during this Chuseok holiday. Through the merging and transfer of older servers, we prepared this so players can experience new enjoyment on the Cheongeum server."
