Joycity announced on the 7th that 'Freestyle Football 2', a new football game in development by its subsidiary WOORE, ranked 1st in the sports category and 11th overall across all genres among upcoming Steam releases at PAX West 2026.
'Freestyle Football 2' topped the sports category on the "PAX Featured Trending Wishlisted" list unveiled on Steam to coincide with the event. During the event, it ranked 11th across all genres.
Joycity operated a standalone demo booth at PAX West. On-site, visitors were able to experience the game centered around single-character action controls and 5v5 team play.
It also conducted a Prime Open Beta Test (OBT) for global players. Joycity plans to polish the game further before its official release based on the feedback collected during the test.

'Freestyle Football 2' is a new title being developed by the original development team behind the online sports game series 'Freestyle'. It is scheduled for a global release in Q4 2026 on PC Steam and console platforms.
