ACDC defeated Young Thirties 4-1 to claim victory in 'JaNaatDae 26: StarCraft with CHZZK' (hereinafter 'S-NaatDae').

Enchant hosted the S-NaatDae finals today (6th) at Coex Atrium. With ACDC (Coach Kim Seong-hyeon, Ague-P, Flame-Z, DDaHyoNi-P, InganJelly-Z) having advanced directly to the finals in 1st place, Young Thirties (Coach SuperNova, Crank-P, JungRyungWang-P, Sowoorup-T, Ssangbe-T) defeated DoPoungReoMaengGo (Coach Maengdeok Eomma, Dopa-P, Gosudal-T, Runner-P, Sopung Wanni-P) 3-0 to advance and face ACDC in the final showdown.

Young Thirties were determined to beat ACDC, who had dominated the full round-robin group stage. However, after giving up the first point in just 3 minutes to InganJelly's 4 Drone in Set 1, they fell into a sweep crisis after dropping consecutive matches in the C and B Tier games. Crank brought back a PvP victory in the A Tier showdown with aggressive proxy Gateways and precise Zealot control, but DDaHyoNi secured victories with Carriers in Set 5—following his Set 2 win—to seal the championship for ACDC.

In Set 1 of the finals on Fighting Spirit, InganJelly launched an early surprise attack with a 4 Drone. Ssangbe, who had opted for a 2 Barracks gas opening without walling off his entrance, tried to defend with SCV and Marine micro upon seeing the Zerglings. However, he lost Marines out of position and yielded the momentum. Positioned in cross-spawns with a long travel distance, Ssangbe aimed to buy time with micro and plan for the mid-game, but InganJelly's relentless Zergling pressure kept SCVs off minerals and continually eroded his forces, ultimately forcing Ssangbe to call GG.

Young Thirties vs ACDC | Match 2 C Tier Young Thirties | Sowoorup (T) 0 : 2 ACDC | DDaHyoNi (P)

Set 2 on Polypoid saw contrasting builds: DDaHyoNi's aggressive Nexus First versus Sowoorup's 1 Barracks 1 Factory opening. Despite delayed scouting, Sowoorup rattled DDaHyoNi with fierce Vulture harassment. While DDaHyoNi's attention was drawn to the Vultures, one of his harassing Dragoons strayed into Bunker range and was lost, and other Dragoons took damage from Spider Mines, opening a vulnerability. Sowoorup aggressively pushed forward with a bio-mech army, quickly picking off Dragoons before pulling back to gain an advantage. Having lost numerous Dragoons to Sowoorup's harass and seeing his pocket Dark Templar tech yield little gain, DDaHyoNi transitioned into Carriers by dropping two Stargates and a Fleet Beacon. With Sowoorup's continuous Vulture harass followed by a ground timing push devastating DDaHyoNi's ground army, DDaHyoNi launched a counterattack with 4 Carriers produced from the resources accumulated from his early natural expansion. Having delayed Goliath production and range upgrades to prepare his ground timing push, Sowoorup lost most of his Tanks deployed at the natural to the Carriers and was forced to retreat. As Sowoorup dispatched Vultures to harass expansions and buy time to assemble Goliaths, DDaHyoNi counter-attacked Sowoorup's main base and expansions with 6 Carriers. Sowoorup attempted to hold with Goliaths and Missile Turrets, but Carriers entered the main base before the Turrets finished, weaving in and out along the cliff edges to pick off Goliaths one by one. Sowoorup scraped together all available Goliaths for a final defense, but unable to take down even a single Carrier from DDaHyoNi's fleet of 8, he declared GG.

In Set 3 played on Fighting Spirit, JungRyungWang rushed a proxy 2 Gateways and even built a Shield Battery at Flame's natural, quickly destroying the natural and pushing toward the main base. However, as soon as Zealots appeared at his natural, Flame built two Sunken Colonies inside his main base to defend, while counter-attacking JungRyungWang's main base with banked Zerglings, killing numerous Probes and widening the economic gap. While JungRyungWang was left stranded by the Zergling harass and Sunken Colony defense, Flame massed Hydralisks off a 2 Hatchery main base build and drove back JungRyungWang's Zealots. JungRyungWang constructed a Forge and attempted to hold the Hydralisk push with Photon Cannons, but Flame's well-timed assault struck before the Cannons were completed, pushing ACDC to a 3-0 match point.

In the PvP matchup on Eclipse, Crank gambled by quickly placing a Pylon below his opponent's natural gas and committing to proxy 2 Gateways. Spotting the proxy Gateways, Ague responded by building 2 Gateways and a Shield Battery. The seemingly even battle swung when Crank boldly dropped two Shield Batteries right inside Ague's main base. With the enemy Shield Batteries blocking movement paths in front of his Gateways, Ague's Zealots hesitated, allowing Crank to win the engagement through precise Zealot micro and Shield regeneration from the double Batteries to secure a win.

Young Thirties vs ACDC | Match 5 C Tier Young Thirties | Sowoorup (T) 1 : 4 ACDC | DDaHyoNi (P)

In Set 5 played on Fighting Spirit, DDaHyoNi—who had used Nexus First in Set 2—caught his opponent off guard with a 9/9 proxy Gateway. Sowoorup missed scouting it, but managed to prevent Zealot entry by walling off his entrance with two Supply Depots and a Barracks. In response, DDaHyoNi transitioned into a Photon Cannon rush. As the Photon Cannon broke through a Supply Depot, Sowoorup pulled some SCVs to hold, losing a few in the process. However, by constructing a Bunker and Supply Depots inside his main base to establish a defense line, he temporarily halted the Zealot advance. Low on workers and struggling with resource collection, Sowoorup managed to buy breathing room by driving out the entering Zealots with Tanks and Vultures. However, because he prioritized Spider Mine research over Siege Mode, clearing the Photon Cannons took additional time. While Sowoorup systematically cleared the Photon Cannons, DDaHyoNi took his natural expansion and dropped a Templar Archives to prepare his next move. After building his natural, Sowoorup dispatched Mine-upgraded Vultures for scouting and harassment. However, an overaggressive poke into DDaHyoNi's cannon-fortified natural resulted in lost Vultures with little gain. DDaHyoNi added up to 3 Photon Cannons at his natural to deny Vulture entry, then built two Stargates and a Fleet Beacon to transition into Carriers. With Vulture harassment blocked, Sowoorup scanned to identify DDaHyoNi's composition and attempted to harass expansions with a small force, but the attempt failed when a Tank was lost to a stationary Dark Templar along the path. Sowoorup gathered as many Goliaths as possible and completed the range upgrade, quickly destroying the Carriers' Interceptors unlike in Set 2. He tried to harass with a Vulture drop in the meantime, but achieved little due to Photon Cannons at the 9 o'clock expansion. Although his Interceptors were destroyed, DDaHyoNi's Carriers—their hulls still intact—attempted another strike on the natural. However, taking damage from Sowoorup's sizable Goliath army, DDaHyoNi temporarily pulled back. With his Carrier fleet reduced from 8 to 6, DDaHyoNi retreated from Sowoorup's natural, but after regrouping and leveraging the Carriers' mobility and micro, he ultimately destroyed Sowoorup's natural expansion. Sowoorup attempted to secure gas and produce more Goliaths by taking a 5 o'clock expansion, but DDaHyoNi—smoothly running his main base and two expansions—assembled an 11-Carrier fleet to overwhelm the Goliath force, sealing the championship for ACDC.
