T1 won Game 1 against Dplus KIA in Round 3 of the Losers' Bracket of the 2026 LCK Playoffs, held at Chzzk LoL Park on September 6. While Dplus KIA took the early lead in the bottom lane, it was T1 who ultimately closed out the game.

First Blood went to Dplus KIA. When the Flash of T1's bottom laner was forced in an early exchange, 'Smash' Sin Geum-jae and 'Career' Oh Hyeong-seok immediately secured a laning kill. 'Smash' then leveraged the resulting item gap to add another kill and take control of the bottom lane.

With their bottom lane falling behind, T1 swapped lanes and accelerated the game tempo. They opened up chaotic fights across the map and overturned the kill score in a short period. Time ticked away as 'Smash', despite sitting on three kills, was unable to convert his growth advantage into game impact.

The momentum completely shifted when 'Smash''s Lucian dashed forward. His attempt to force a play was punished, as T1 closed in without hesitation to kill Lucian. Starting from this fight, map control swung to T1.

Dplus KIA counterattacked with Baron. As soon as T1's Lee Sin showed in the bottom lane, Dplus KIA, who were positioned near Baron, immediately started taking it down. T1 collapsed late and failed to stop them. Buffed with Baron, Dplus KIA narrowed the gap, bringing the contest back to objective teamfights.

In the decisive teamfight with Game 1 on the line, while both teams' bottom laners were active in the clash, T1 'Oner' Mun Hyeon-jun's Lee Sin picked off 'Smash''s Lucian. Deprived of their carry, Dplus KIA lost the teamfight, and T1 wrapped up Game 1.
