Young Thirties have advanced to the finals of 'Janatdae 26: StarCraft with CHZZK' (hereinafter Snatdae), setting up a final clash against ACDC.

Enchant held the Snatdae Finals Qualifier today (Sep 6) at the COEX Artium. With ACDC (Head Coach Kim Seong-hyun, Agu-P, Flame-Z, Ddahyoni-P, Ingangeelly-Z) having secured their spot in the finals early by finishing first in the full league, a fierce battle unfolded between Dopeungreomaenggo (Head Coach Maengdeok Mother, Dopa-P, Gosudal-T, Runner-P, Sopungwanni-P) and Young Thirties (Head Coach SuperNova, Crank-P, Jeongryeongwang-P, SoWroup-T, Ssangbe-T) for the final ticket.

Starting from this finals qualifier, unlike the league stage, the matches were played in a single-elimination BO5 format, resulting in continuous early-game harassment and timing rushes rather than long macroeconomic games. However, Young Thirties took two straight games by countering Dopeungreomaenggo's back-to-back Templar-based builds with Bionic-Mechanic play. In Set 3, where the races changed, Young Thirties used a timing attack incorporating Dark Templars to buy time, then established a defensive line with Photon Cannons and High Templars to block the opponent's counterattack before pushing forward to complete a 3-0 victory.

Dopeungreomaenggo vs Young Thirties | Match 1 D-Tier Dopeungreomaenggo | Sopungwanni (P) 0 : 1 Young Thirties | Ssangbe (T)

In Set 1, Sopungwanni quickly built a Templar Archives, attempting the fast Dark Templar strategy shown on Day 1 of the full league once again. When Ssangbe prepared by building an early Engineering Bay, Sopungwanni quickly put up a Robotics Facility to transition into shuttle drops, while preparing Dark Templar harassment and High Templars against Ssangbe, whose delayed gas indicated a Bionic cheese rush. Ssangbe lost some troops to Dark Templar harassment during his push, but did not hesitate to charge straight through the middle. Sopungwanni tried to defend against Ssangbe's rush of +1 Armor Marines using Psionic Storm chains and Dark Templars, but lacked frontline Zealots to hold the line, resulting in her High Templars getting snipe-killed and handing Ssangbe the victory in Set 1.

Dopeungreomaenggo vs Young Thirties | Match 2 C-Tier Dopeungreomaenggo | Runner (P) 0 : 2 Young Thirties | SoWroup (T)

Set 2 was played on Fighting Spirit following Set 1. SoWroup quickly walled off his choke and prepared a 1-Barracks 2-Factory build. Runner started toward a fast Dark Templar strategy before gathering Dragoons with the Singularity Charge range upgrade, blocking SoWroup's scouting attempts and transitioning toward Arbiters. In response, SoWroup took an expansion and prepared a Bionic-Mechanic composition while building Missile Turrets everywhere to guard against drops and scouting. Runner built a Stargate and scouted with a Corsair, but was a step late in detecting SoWroup's expanding Barracks due to the wall of Turrets. Consequently, Runner canceled his first Arbiter and prepared to defend by researching Psionic Storm, boosting army production, and building a Forge. However, SoWroup's well-timed Bionic-Mechanic attack quickly wiped out Runner's expansion and pushed the frontline back into his main base. Runner tried to slow down the advance with Arbiter Stasis Fields and Zealots, but SoWroup's Bionic-Mechanic army seized control of the Gateway area, giving SoWroup the win in Set 2.

Dopeungreomaenggo vs Young Thirties | Match 3 B-Tier Dopeungreomaenggo | Gosudal (T) 0 : 3 Young Thirties | Jeongryeongwang (P)

Set 3 took place on Eclipse, where Jeongryeongwang initiated mind games with a gas rush. Gosudal skipped proxy Barracks in favor of an in-base 2-Barracks into Academy build, preparing a Bionic timing push. In response, Jeongryeongwang upgraded Dragoon range to poke and harass while preparing Dark Templars, quickly destroying Turrets to launch a preemptive attack. The Dark Templar-infused push destroyed Gosudal's natural expansion Bunker and Turret, but Gosudal stopped the attack by quickly killing the Dark Templars with Scanner Sweeps. Gosudal then launched a timing attack with +1 Armor Marines and Medics, but due to a lack of Scan energy, he could not handle the Dark Templar harassment efficiently and fell back temporarily. Gosudal researched Siege Mode and attempted a Bionic-Mechanic cheese rush with two Siege Tanks aimed at the opponent's natural expansion. However, Jeongryeongwang had already built multiple Photon Cannons while blocking incoming Marines with Dark Templar harassment, completely neutralizing the cheese rush. Gosudal, who had attempted the cheese rush without expanding, gathered his forces once more to occupy high ground and gradually built Bunkers to execute a slow contain. Although Jeongryeongwang cleared out the Marines with Psionic Storm, he failed to destroy the Tanks in time, allowing the initial Bunker construction. However, after merging his depleted High Templars into Archons, he engaged in a direct clash using Dragoons, Dark Templars, and Archons, breaking through Gosudal's line and pushing into his natural expansion. Gosudal pulled SCVs to defend, but could not overcome the army discrepancy, cementing Young Thirties' spot in the finals.

Dopeungreomaenggo vs Young Thirties | Match 4 Shutout Match Dopeungreomaenggo | Dopa (P) Loss : Win Young Thirties | Crank (P)

With Young Thirties already securing their spot in the finals with a 3-0 lead, a Shutout Match between A-Tier players was held as an ace match with a 1 million won team bonus on the line. In this Protoss mirror match, builds diverged as Dopa went for 10-12 Gateways, while Crank opened 1-Gateway Gas Cybernetics Core into a 2-Gateway build. Due to delayed scouting, Crank lost a few probes to Dopa's 3-Zealot poke, but defended with his pre-queued Dragoons and quickly put up a Robotics Facility. Meanwhile, Dopa added up to 3 Gateways while producing 2 Zealots and 7 Dragoons, attempting a head-to-head clash before Reavers could warp in. However, upon confirming that Crank had secured at least 6 Dragoons, Dopa settled for occupying Crank's natural expansion. Afterward, Dopa built an expansion at his natural to widen the economy gap, but was forced to retreat against Crank's attack accompanied by a Reaver. Facing Crank as he steadily advanced with an Observer, Dopa gathered a large force of Dragoons for a final showdown. Dopa fought desperately by quickly sniping the Reaver and holding high ground, but could not overcome the Dragoon count gap, allowing Young Thirties to claim the additional 1 million won team prize.
