Arc System Works Asia announced on September 3 that pre-orders for the Korean physical edition of the tactical counter-timeline RPG 'Qliphah in Providence's Shadow' will begin on September 4.

The Korean physical edition will be released for PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders will run through September 22 via online and offline game retailers, with a limited-quantity multi-cleaner provided as a pre-order bonus.

Buyers of the Nintendo Switch Korean edition can download a two-item DLC set for free for a limited time, containing three additional skins each for the two protagonists, Rena Hizuki and Souma Hoshigami, and the 'Voidfall' Extra Battle featuring 16 high-difficulty battles. Specific distribution schedules and details will be revealed at a later date.

The same pre-order and early purchase bonuses will also be offered for the PS5 physical edition and digital versions on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Delivery methods and eligibility periods vary by platform.

'Qliphah in Providence's Shadow' is a new title jointly presented by Arc System Works and UnitePlus. Set in Tokyo following the "Collapse of the World," where reality-corroding Aberrations roam, the story follows Rena Hizuki and Souma Hoshigami—both possessed by Aberrations—as they investigate the mysteries behind the events.

In combat, players must monitor the timeline in the center of the screen and match skills of the same color as the enemy's attack to trigger counters. Players can combine protagonist switching, support skills, Buddy Counters, aerial chases, knockdowns, and the ultimate skill 'Secret Art.' The game also features a story progression system where events change depending on the location and time visited, as well as the 'Mystic Pass,' where players find passwords to unlock skills.

'Qliphah in Providence's Shadow' is scheduled for release on September 24 on PS5, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. It supports Japanese voiceovers and Korean subtitles.
