Scopely Explore announced on the 3rd that 'Monster Hunter Now', the real-world monster hunting game co-developed with Capcom, will launch Season 11, 'Ashes of Ignition', on September 17 to celebrate its 3rd anniversary.

Season 11 brings Brachydios and Aurora Somnacanth to the roster. Both monsters can be encountered in the field after completing emergency quests in specific chapters, or hunted by selecting them with the Monster Tracker.

New monster gear will introduce three new skills: 'Bonus Attack [Blast]', which boosts attack power when Blast triggers; 'Artillery Mastery', which strengthens shelling and phial attack power; and 'Charge Stock', which maintains charge levels to increase damage.

Riftborne Azure Rathalos and Riftborne Aknosom will appear as Riftborne monsters. Reaching level 10 in style customization for weapons made from their materials will grant an additional equipment skill, with weapons forged from Azure Rathalos materials unlocking 'SP Skill Power UP Mastery'.

A fifth habitat, the 'Volcano' region, will also be added. The habitat rotation frequency will increase to twice a day, and a feature allowing players to tune field monster difficulty according to their gear progression will be introduced.

During the 3rd Anniversary Thanksgiving Event, all players will receive an Item Box Expansion (+250 slots) supply item and Grade 10 weapons, along with access to a limited-time Exchange Shop. Riftborne Black Diablos and autumn events are scheduled to roll out sequentially in the future.

The in-person event 'Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2026: Osaka' will take place on November 14 and 15 across the Namba area in Osaka. The event will feature early access to slay the Elder Dragon Amatsu and reveal special battle mechanics. Increased spawns of Riftborne monsters, a Stamp Hunt, limited layered equipment, and exclusive hunting backgrounds will also be featured.

For players worldwide, 'Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2026: Global' will run from November 28 to 29. The event will feature hunts against the Elder Dragon Amatsu, reduced respawn times for large monsters, an expanded access range, Hunt-a-Thons without waiting times, and limited gear crafting.
