On the 2nd, Nexture announced that it added the new "Welcome to Hanok" theme along with growth and quality-of-life content to its cafe management simulation game 'Maru is a Puppy: I Became a Cafe Boss? Awesome!' (hereinafter 'Maru is a Puppy Cafe Game').

This Hanok theme was prepared based on user vote results celebrating 100 days of service. It introduces new interior decor, seasonal menu items, and costumes that capture the atmosphere of a traditional Korean Hanok.

New seasonal menu additions include "Soft and Savory Injeolmi Misutgaru" and "Colorful Rainbow Rice Cake." Theme-related quests will be released sequentially in three phases, and completing the final phase rewards players with the "Hanok Ceramic Display Cabinet" interior item.

An event codex where players can register Hanok-themed costumes has also been added. Players can earn extra rewards according to their costume collection progress.

The level cap for the character 'Maru' has been expanded from Level 10 to Level 20. New rewards for leveling up have been added, and "Maru's Errand Coupon," which could previously only be used one at a time, has been improved to allow multiple coupons to be used simultaneously. A new buff has also been applied to "Maru's Super Strong Skill," which becomes available at Maru Level 7.

The "Im Juice's Help" feature was introduced to reduce repetitive controls. Unlike the previous method where players had to touch each machine individually to collect completed food and drinks, menu items can now be harvested all at once with a single button press.

The "Unmanned Studio" has seen its growth and reward elements enhanced. Opening the second studio, "Modern Studio," unlocks a fountain that provides rewards based on accumulated time. Growing the fountain through "Make a Wish" increases the rewards available. Additionally, an in-game day-and-night transition system has been added alongside feature improvements and bug fixes.

A Nexture representative stated, "While introducing the Hanok theme reflecting player feedback, we have enhanced growth and reward elements and improved overall play convenience by reducing fatigue from repetitive operations," adding, "We will continue to actively incorporate user feedback to consistently deliver a variety of fun content."
